This week the Museum welcomed visitors from Leeds University’s Summer School. The Summer School is for overseas students who would like to learn more about British history and culture.
I was joined on Wednesday by Janet Suggett and Gillian Greenwood who kindly volunteered to act as Museum guides. We gave the students the full Museum tour, they however enjoyed the Pendle Witches section as after the visit to the Heritage Centre they were moving on to Newchurch and Barley.
The Museum tour was followed by a trip round the Walled Garden where Peter let the students sample various herbs.
We hoped the students enjoyed their visit to the Pendle Heritage Centre and I hope another group will visit us next year…..FW July 2014
