It was ‘rain stop play’ for the morning session of the gardens group but things improved a bit later on. As there was little to do in the walled garden, now all set for Saturday’s open afternoon, it was the turn of the woodland walk for some tlc and some not so tlc also! A couple of hours cutting and pulling up left it nice and clear and there was even time to admire the not so wet walled garden before the centre shut for the day.
